You probably know me best as pagesofmaria from Bookstagram. For as long as I can remember, I've always had my nose stuck in a book or my my mind lost in a daydream. Now that I'm supposedly an adult (when did that happen?), my life still revolves around stories. When I'm not reading them, I'm either writing them or talking about them online.One of my goals is to hype up underrated books and help authors reach new audiances. Why should the same books be recommended all the time? A lot of my favorites that I shout out are indies and underrated titles that deserve way more love and recognition!

sister author duo of new adult and adult fantasy romance
C.M. Karys is the pen name I share with my sister and co-author, Chiara (@wordsbychiara). As young girls, play time for us meant creating dramatic stories for our plushies and Barbies, yet I was the one who took to writing first thanks to projects done in school. Still, I would often turn to my sister for advice, to the point that ours became real plotting sessions. In a way, my stories have always been our stories. Then one hot day of early July 2008, tragedy struck our town and a festival was canceled. With our family's plans inevitably changed, I sat at the computer, but it was only once Chiara started chiming in ideas that the words started to flow. I invited her to sit beside me—I mean, might as well, right?—and the rest is history.Fourteen years later, I honestly don't see myself ever writing without her again. Writing is one of the many things we share, and it's our favorite way to have fun! Seriously, how could I even attempt to write a story when half the plot and cast of characters is stuck in her mind?
